Whew! What a month it’s been. We’ve completely rebranded our name, logo, and we’ve got a swanky new site. Our services and passion for all things web hasn’t changed, but we’ve realised we’re actually really good at building web applications, integrating systems to help sales teams, building mind-blowingly complex eCommerce and B2B sites that make things super simple for teams and customers, and all in all, just making our client’s lives a little easier. So we’ve decided to narrow down on what we’re really good at.
So if you’ve been with us for a while, welcome back to Sequel; and if you’re a new client, nice to meet you!
We’ve also taken on a few new team members, so say hello to Pip and Harry!
Pip is part of our admin team, and is the friendly voice you’ll hear when you answer the phone (unless she’s too busy reading a blog on the latest Instagram algorithm). She’s crazy about social media marketing, and is chief of the Sequel channels. She’s also a singer and musician and loves to gig in her spare time!
Harry is the newest member of the Sequel team. He’s our junior web developer, and loves all things computer hardware and electronics, plus he can type 61 words in as little as 1 minute! But he also has a huge passion for photography, having had some images recently featured in a local shop.
And if that wasn’t enough, amongst the midst of the rebrand and two new team members, we’ve even managed to bag a nomination for the Digital Entrepreneur Awards under the eCommerce Developer of the Year category!
The DEAs are the only awards of their kind, recognising agencies and entrepreneurs across the UK who are innovators within their industry, and have produced great work for their clients.
The awards celebrate not only the high-traffic, high-profile websites and eCommerce leaders, but also the silent heroes who develop these systems behind the scenes that make processes easier, and change the online landscape, shaping our digital future (a little like us!).
It’s just so incredible to be recognised in our field of the digital industry and I’m just so proud of everything Sequel has achieved in such a short space of time.
Now for the awards ceremony and a chance to celebrate!
Oliver Sadler, Sequel
The awards take into consideration our approach to eCommerce development, and what innovative techniques and systems we use that make us stand out within the industry. You can check out our work with some of our amazing clients here.
The winners of each award category will be announced on the 21st of November, at the Principal Hotel in the heart of Manchester city centre. So we can’t wait to get our gladrags on, pop some bottles and celebrate Sequel’s success this year!
Well that’s all from us for now; as you can see we’ve been pretty busy over the last few months and we doubt it’s about to slow down! So we’ll be sure to catch up with you all again soon and let you know about everything going on at Sequel HQ.
